WEEK 5 MODELS

 WEEK 5 MODELS:

This first prototype of the space I live in (bedroom) is made out of paper and uses tabs to hold the structure together. Following the 2.5 Shapes and Assemblies video posted in Week 5, the tabs are to replicate the tabs in the laser cut model.

My bedroom shell shows the entrance door and another wide, sliding door opposite which allows a lot of light within the space. This window of light allows cool shadows to be represented within the living space.

This model was made out of thin modelling wood. This was interesting to make as I could slightly cut the wood and make it bend without breaking. The wood is also more structural, making it more enjoyable to work with.
